Please note if upgrading Sick Submitter: We have made changes to the default Wizard templates and the monthly scripts. If you have made any customization to either please stop now and save them under a new file name before upgrading.

We don’t usually have updates this close together but some users were having issues with the Captcha.exe so we took it as a time to completely rework the autocaptcha system.

Autocaptcha is no longer dependant on a .exe or .dll
Removed the need for IP or Port for Decaptcher
Added the much requested BeatCaptcha option
Added Balance Check to BypassCaptcha and Decaptcher Test
In Global Setting gave the option to turn off Captcha Window in Auto Mode
Improved Pinger to give more reliable response codes

Sick Submitter Version 2.0063 Maintenance Released

Sick Submitter Updates and Fixes:

The Wizard can now use a URL from almost any page within the platform directory not just the homepage. It does however still need to be in the same directory for example if the platform is located in site.com/forum/ site.com will not be sufficient however almost any page within site.com/forum/ will work.

Sick Submitter Profile Maker will now look for and return the reason a site has failed. This will allow you to go back and fix that problem after a run to correct any failed profiles. We have also made Profile Maker even more accurate at figuring out the correct form fields to fill. All past months scripts have been updated with this new code, this will allow you to re-run any profiles that have failed in the past.

The Mail Checker has been totally reworked and is now much much faster and more accurate.
You can now Clear IE Cookies from Options menu in Profile Maker.
A bug that didn’t allow un-encrypted profiles to be read in URL manager has also been fixed.

Sick Marketing Version 2.0054 Released

April is here, and so is Sick Marketing’s new Tool Kit Wizard.

Last month Sick Marketing introduced Sick Tool Kit, which allows you to add your own sites and packets, or modify any current sites. While many of you enjoyed this we had a number of users who were a little over whelmed with all of the coding, and variables. We promised a solution and here it is, we call it the Wizard.

Using the Wizard and creating new packets couldn’t be easier. You select the platform of your packet, currently we supply you with the options of Expression Engine, PHPBB 2, SMF Forum, and VBulletin 4. We will of course continue to update, and add platforms based on user requests. You the user also have the ability to take a look at the template for each platform, and design your own to fit the platform you require. After selecting your platform of choice, you can enter a single URL, or upload a text file with 1 URL per line, and the Wizard will output the code needed. The supplied templates in the Wizard should be used with forums installed with default settings, however site templates can be modified to suit your needs.

Sick Submitter have also been busy behind the scenes creating many new features and bug fixes all listed below.

The new Sick Profile Maker 2.0 contains over 50 bug fixes and many new and improved features.

New features include:

Our toolkit is perhaps our greatest addition yet. Using the toolkit (which requires a profile maker subscription) you will have the ability to code your own site lists. This can be done to increase the marketing of your own site, or to share with others. The platforms available in previous months are all open so that you can use them as an example should you get stuck, or use them to expand upon the site lists already available.

If you are upgrading only!
To install the new Sick Profile Maker there are a couple of steps which must be executed for proper operation.
Remove ALL old versions of Sick Profile Maker. (your profiles will not be removed)
Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel.

Find Add and Remove Programs, and scroll through the list until you see Sick Profile Maker.
Click each instance and then choose uninstall. Some users reported a bug where multiple installs where found, if this is your case please remove each of them.

Once fully removed visit our site for the new install file. http://sickmarketing.com/products/profilemaker/setup.exe
Double click the file and launch the install. Accept all defaults and finish the install. Once installed launch the Profile Maker. If your login details were saved the program will automatically log you in.

Click the User Manager Icon to launch the User Manager. Once launched click the User Menu button and select Profile Converter. Click the open folder icon and select the profile you wish to convert. One selected click Convert Profile to 2.0. This process must be completed for all profiles created in previous versions.

You are now ready to use the new Sick Profile Maker.

Sick Marketing Just released Sick Profile Maker version 1.2 – Maintenance Release

Program Updates:
The site list has been Cleaned and Fixed

Add function which removes Internet Explorer processes from resident memory, avoiding multiple IE processes stack in memory (note: this greatly improves performance but means you can not browse using IE at the same time)

We just released Sick Profile Maker version 1.12 and February’s site list.

Program Updates:
We fixed some more small bugs that were annoying users including some in the Pinger and a few display issues.
Added automatic steps 1-2-3 which lets you walk away during the account creation process, email verification and profile creation.
Added a skip site option (f2) to skip a site that may be slow for one reason or another without having to completely stop profile maker.
Added easy to find FAQ and support buttons along with a way to send any profiles your having issues with to support right from the User Manager

We also needed to upgrade the way captchas were grabbed so that we could open up more platforms. This requires some changes to IE Clipboard option. We provided a step by step process for users to do this when they open the program. It may seem annoying but allows us to use more platforms which is better for everyone. See the Support Area for more information.

Added a Pause before exit IE option to the option bar that forces profile maker to pause between sites. Really useful in IE Visible mode to diagnosis any problems your profile may be having with certain sites.

Site updates:
30 New DoFollow Profile sites added for February so you can protect your Brand on more sites.

Sick Submitter FAQ’s Added

I haven’t received my welcome email yet, what do I do?
Since we manually approve all orders it take can take up to 24 hours for us to update your account but usually it’s in less than 4 hours.
Make sure you white list support@sickmarketing.com with your email provider so it does not go into spam. This is especially improtant with Gmail accounts.

Every time I try to do email confirmations, it pops up a dialogue box saying “mailreader has stopped working” what do I do?
Check if the .NET framework 3.5 or better installed and that your mailbox has less than 250 messages in the INBOX. If you do not have the .NET framework 3.5 or better installed, you can download it from here

Where do I download the Sick Submitter Trial?

The trial version allows unlimited profiles on 5 sites.

Captcha window is blank when using manual captchas, what do I do?
We grab the captcha image from the website and save to a file which then opens in the captcha box, if you are not seeing the image it may be because the file was unsuccessfully saved to your drive.
This normally occurs when the folder of Profile Maker is protected (ex.Program Files), or you are not the administrator. A simple way to solve this problem is right-click on the Profile Maker and “Run as Administrator”, or install in a non protected folder.

How many computers can I install Sick Profile Maker on?
Your monthly subscription entitles you to install the Profile Maker on “2″ computers. This is checked via logs daily, and warnings are sent to users with more than 2 IP Addresses in use per day. This process is automated and after your second infraction your account will be suspended until you contact us.
We understand that many of you may use a proxy server, as long as you log in prior to entering your proxy config there should not be an issue.

My Captcha window shows an error
The Sick Profile Maker utilizes third party API’s for auto captcha solving. While we make every effort to give you the best experience possible we cannot guarantee the availability of these services. We work with both ByPassCaptcha, and Decatcher.com. If you are using one and not happy with it, please give the other a chance.

Registration Failed..
Please be patient and realize that these are real web sites and will come and go as most web sites on the internet do. If you continually experience a problem with any single web site, please feel free to drop us a note support at sickmarketing.com. If we receive multiple reports, and are able to verify the same results we can remove the site from the site lists. We unfortunately cannot guarantee any site will be up and available 24x7x365.

What Email accounts can I use
You can use any email account which offers POP3 access. We have auto complete enabled for the major providers which will fill the POP Server, SSL value, and Port number. If you have your own private mail server you would like to use simply select the Other option on the email tab, and enter your own values.

Are SENuke or XRumer Links “##” format available
Yes, in user manager click on the links tab, and place a check in the Use Advanced Links box. Further options for all links, or X random links are also available.

Do you support content spinning?
Yes we do, open user manager. The links, RSS, and descriptions are all spinnable. Each field also denotes this feature where available.

How do I stop “Allow data to be copied to clipboard” popup?
Many web sites are now improving the way they display captchas in order to prevent automated services. Due to this we have changed the way we read captchas, and now require you to make a small change in your IE settings.

Steps:
Open IE,
Click to Tools
Then Internet Options
Next click the Security Tab
Click Custom Level
Scroll down almost to the bottom
Find the section that says Allow Programmatic Clipboard Access.
Click the Enable Option
Click OK
Restart IE

Error 107
PM didn’t succeed download and save newfiles.txt

Solutions:
1) Check if running in admin mode
2) Check internet connection
3) Check firewall

Error 229
PM gives this message when unable to create the file “mmessages.txt”. This file is created when the user clicks check mail.

Solutions:
1) Check mail settings
2) Check firewall for the pop port
3) Check if is running in admin mode

Error 274
Unable to read “mmessages.txt”, this is the file created when click “Check Mail”. Needed to continue the process of checking mail.

Solutions:
The file “mmessages.txt” wasn’t closed when PM was downloading the messages from the web.
1) try again
2) restart PM
3) Check mail settings
4) Check firewall for the pop port
5) Check if is running in admin mode

Error 402
Unable to open .pmu file. This file holds the profile information about the sites register/links/pass/etc. for the specific profile unable to open .pmu to update the new data.
